Meet the Phomemo PM241‑BT Thermal Label Printer, your go‑to wireless Bluetooth label printer and home label printer for seamless shipping and organization
Remove the Protective Paper
Before first use, peel away the protective film covering the thermal print head to prevent paper jams and ensure crisp printing.
Connecting the Power
- Always use the original Phomemo power adapter.
- Assemble the power cord, plug it into the printer, then into the outlet—following the diagram order.
- When the adapter’s green LED lights up, your PM241‑BT printer is powered and ready.
Open the Paper Compartment
Press the power button to turn on, then lift the cover to a 90° angle for easy label loading.
Load the Labels
- Insert your label roll into the paper guide slot.
- Align the edge of the labels with the paper outlet; ensure the printable side faces up and the backing faces down.
Note:
- Always leave at least two continuous labels on the roll to avoid misfeeds.
- For best results, use genuine Phomemo thermal label rolls.
Secure the Labels
Fix the label roll properly using the Paper Guide Slot to avoid skewed printing or paper jams.
✔ Correct Installation:
Slide the paper guides inward until they firmly hold both sides of the label roll. The labels should feed out straight and lie flat in the track, as shown in the top image.
✘ Incorrect Installation:
Do not leave the paper guides loose or misaligned, as shown in the bottom image. Loose positioning may cause the labels to shift during printing, leading to misfeeds or poor print alignment.
🔹 Tip:
Ensure the printable side faces up, and that the guides are adjusted snugly without bending the labels. Proper alignment helps your Phomemo PM241-BT thermal label printer deliver smooth, accurate results every time.
Printer Self-Check
Power on the home label printer. It will automatically perform a self‑check. Once the indicator light turns blue, the PM241‑BT is ready to print.
Print via Mobile Device
- Download the Labelife app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Follow the in‑app instructions to pair with your wireless Bluetooth label printer and start printing directly from your phone.
Print via PC
- Visit the Phomemo Drivers page and select the PM241 driver for Windows, Mac, or Linux. Install as directed.
- Connect the printer to your computer using the included USB cable.
- Open the desktop Labelife software; the PM241‑BT will appear on the home screen.
- Create a new label layout, open an existing PDF, or choose the PDF Printing feature to pre‑edit documents before printing. Tip: Use PDF Printing to adjust layout, scale, and margins for perfect shipping labels.
- Access “Tutorial Videos” in Labelife for step‑by‑step software guides and pro tips.
